Fashion

Founded in Paris in 1854, Louis Vuitton perpetuates the ambitious vision of its namesake. From his origins as a master trunk maker, manufacturing boxes used to pack both everyday objects as well as voluminous wardrobes, Louis Vuitton and his successors introduced numerous innovations including the advent of the flat-top trunk, lightweight canvas, signature patterns, and the tumbler lock. Today, Louis Vuitton’s legacy is expressed through its rigorous spirit of innovation, the boldness of its creations and an uncompromising demand for excellence.
Created by Georges Louis Vuitton in 1896 as a tribute to his father, the Monogram canvas, a highly coveted material that quickly became a sign of distinction and rarity. Today, the Monogram motif provides endless inspiration for contemporary re-interpretations by Louis Vuitton’s own Artistic Directors as well as artistic visionaries.

The Challenge

As a brand already consolidated in multiple fields with extreme versatility, the challenges behind this project were not strictly about scope or content. Instead, the focus was on identifying and working through my own creative weaknesses by exploring techniques and aesthetics I had not yet mastered. To push myself further and expand my visual repertoire, I deliberately stepped into unfamiliar territory: the world of fashion and luxury lifestyle. This space, filled with tradition and high aesthetic standards, required a deep immersion and a thoughtful adaptation of my visual language to meet the expectations of an iconic brand like Louis Vuitton.

The Solution

To overcome my technical limitations and gain fluency in new visual approaches, I immersed myself in a self-driven learning process that included watching tutorials, taking specialized courses, and studying design literature. My research went beyond traditional graphic design as I explored visual compositions, aesthetic rhythms, and textures from both fashion and adjacent artistic disciplines. This combination allowed me to refine my style and deliver a visual language that feels both familiar and sophisticated, honoring Louis Vuitton’s heritage while simultaneously asserting my own creative voice.
